Scheme of work: Year 12 Further Mathematics A-Level: Core Pure 1: Linear Transformations

Using matrices, students learn how to represent 2D rotations, reflections and enlargements throughout the unit. Later, as learning progresses, they carry out transformations in 3D and use inverse matrices to find the object’s position when given a transformed image.
