Scheme of work: Year 12 Further Mathematics A-Level: Core Pure 1: Matrices

Throughout the unit, students learn about the different types of matrices and how to perform calculations, such as addition, subtraction, multiplication and finding the determinant. Later, as learning progresses, they calculate the inverse of the matrix and solve systems of linear equations.
