Calculations with Limits of Accuracy

Students learn how to perform calculations with the upper and lower bound of measurements.

Later, as learning progresses students use the limits of accuracy with substitution into formulae.

Differentiated Learning Objectives
  • All students should be able to calculate a maximum and minimum sum and difference
  • Most students should be able to calculate a maximum and minimum product and quotient.
  • Some students should be able to solve problems in context using limits of accuracy.
