Resolving Forces

Students learn how to resolve forces into their vertical and horizontal components, which is a fundamental skill in mechanics.

Later, as learning progresses, they apply these principles to understand equilibrium and resultant forces across various scenarios.

The lesson is structured in three parts: initially focusing on calculating components of single forces, then finding resultant forces when two forces act on a particle, and finally resolving multiple forces to maintain equilibrium and deducing unknowns, such as masses and force magnitudes.
